Last updated: 24 August 2026. These terms are between you and the operator of HODL Hotel (“we”). HODL Hotel is an original social game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Sulake, Habbo, or any other hotel simulation.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 to create an account. You must be at least 18 to purchase virtual coins with Solana or any other crypto-asset. If you are 13–17 you may play with a parent or guardian’s permission, without making payments.
2. Account
You are responsible for your password, guest, and activity. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, the community guidelines, or applicable law. One person, one account unless we agree otherwise.
3. Virtual goods and coins
Coins, furniture, and other items are licensed virtual goods with no real-world cash value. They are not securities, e-money, or redeemable currency. We do not buy them back. Blockchain payments are irreversible once confirmed. See the Virtual Goods Policy.
4. User content
Chat, room names, ads, NFT displays, and images you upload stay yours, but you grant us a worldwide licence to host and display them in the game. Do not upload illegal, infringing, or deceptive content. Advertisers are solely responsible for their boards.
5. Games of chance
Dice machines and mini-games are entertainment. They do not wager coins, SOL, or prizes convertible to money. Do not run private gambling rings. We will shut that down.
6. Solana
You interact with public blockchains at your own risk (lost keys, failed transactions, network fees, volatility). We never take custody of your wallet. Treasury payments must match the listed pack amount.
7. Conduct
No harassment, scams, impersonation of staff, sexual content involving minors, hate, or attempts to exploit the server. Auto-moderation may bleep words. Staff decisions on bans are final except where law requires a review.
8. Intellectual property
The HODL Hotel name, art, code, and furniture designs are ours or licensed to us. Do not copy them into competing clients. Third-party NFTs remain their owners’ property; we only display them in frames you control.
9. Disclaimer
The game is provided “as is”. We do not warrant uninterrupted uptime. To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian and other applicable law, our liability is limited to the greater of CAD $50 or the amount you paid us in the 90 days before the claim.
